Simple Pot Scrubby

This pattern is for a very simple pot scrubber.

For this pattern you will need approx 14 yards of nylon netting cut down to 2-3" strips, there should be 2 of these if you are using a 6" wide netting.  You can use any hook size but I used a K 6.5mm hook for this one which measures about 3.25" in diameter using exactly 14 yards of netting.

NOTE: This scrubby is worked in a round.  Ch 1 does NOT count as a sc so be sure to start each round in same stitch as ch 1.

To start, ch 3, slip into first stitch ch 1, loop made
Round 1: 8 sc in center of loop, slip into first sc, ch 1 = 8 sc
Begin increase rounds
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around, slip into first sc, ch 1 = 16 sc
Round 3: *2 sc in first sc, 1 sc* repeat around.  Slip into first sc, ch 1 = 24sc
Round 4: *2 sc in first sc, 1 sc, 1 sc* repeat around.  Slip into first sc, ch 1 = 32sc
Round 5: sc in each sc around.  Slip into first sc, ch 1 = 32sc
Begin decrease rounds
Round 6: *sc2tog, sc, sc* repeat around, slip into first sc, ch 1 = 24 sc
Round 7: *sc2tog, sc* repeat around, slip into first sc, ch 1 - 16 sc
Round 8: sc2tog around, slip into first sc, ch 1 = 8 sc
Round 9: sc in each sc around, slip into first sc = 8 sc

Weave in end.  When I weave in the end, I sewed the front and back together to make it flatter.
